Welcome to Westchester Maids Elite. These Terms & Conditions outline the expectations, responsibilities, and policies that govern our cleaning services. By booking an appointment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms below.
1. Service Agreement
Westchester Maids Elite provides residential and commercial cleaning services as requested by the client. Services include standard cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, and add-on services. A detailed scope of work may be provided upon request.
We reserve the right to update or modify services and pricing at any time.
2. Appointment Policies
2.1 Scheduling
All appointments are scheduled based on availability. Bookings are confirmed only after receiving your appointment confirmation email or text.
2.2 Arrival Window
Due to traffic, weather, and varying job lengths, we provide a 1–2 hour arrival window. If our team will be significantly delayed, we will notify you as soon as possible.
3. Access to Your Property
Clients must provide safe entry to the property at the scheduled time. Acceptable methods include:
Being present at the appointment
Providing a door code
Leaving a key in a secure, agreed location
If the cleaning team cannot access the property, a lockout fee of $75 will apply.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Payment Methods
Payments are due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed. We accept credit/debit cards and other approved payment methods.
4.2 Late Payments
Unpaid invoices after 48 hours may incur a late fee of $25.
4.3 Refunds
Cleaning services are non-refundable. However, we offer a satisfaction guarantee (see Section 7).
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that schedules change. To maintain fairness and availability for all clients:
24 hours notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
Cancellations under 24 hours will incur a $50 late-cancellation fee.
Same-day cancellations or no-shows will incur a full service charge.
Recurring clients who have repeated cancellations may lose their reserved time slot.
6. Safety & Working Conditions
To ensure our team's safety and deliver the highest quality service:
Homes must be free of hazards, aggressive pets, and unsafe conditions.
We do not clean bodily fluids, mold, infestation, or other hazardous materials.
Our teams cannot move heavy furniture or climb ladders higher than two steps.
If conditions are unsafe, service may be refused and a fee may apply.
7. Satisfaction Guarantee
Your happiness matters to us. If you are not satisfied with any part of your cleaning:
Notify us within 24 hours, and
We will return to re-clean the area at no additional charge.
This guarantee does not apply if the customer is not present during the appointment and no walkthrough is performed.
8. Personal Items & Valuables
Please put cash, jewelry, and small valuables away prior to your appointment.
Westchester Maids Elite is not responsible for lost or misplaced items.
We carry liability insurance; however, claims must be reported within 24 hours with supporting documentation.
9. Pet Policy
We love pets! However:
Pets must be secured or moved to a safe area during service.
We are not responsible for pet escape due to unsecured doors or gates.
10. Photos & Documentation
For quality assurance, training, and proof of service, our team may take before/after photos of general cleaning areas. Photos will never include people or personal identifying information. You may opt out by notifying us in writing before your appointment.
11. Service Limitations
We do not provide:
Dishwashing of large quantities
Laundry unless booked as an add-on
Decluttering/organizing unless specifically included
Exterior window cleaning
Cleaning of areas requiring heavy lifting or special equipment
12. Price Adjustments
Quotes are based on the information provided at booking. If the property is larger, dirtier, or requires additional time or services, the price may be adjusted at our discretion.
13. Holidays
We are closed on major holidays. If your recurring service falls on a holiday, we will contact you to reschedule.
14. Liability
Westchester Maids Elite is insured and follows standard cleaning procedures. We are not responsible for damage due to:
Normal wear and tear
Improper installation of fixtures
Items not secured to walls or surfaces
Pre-existing conditions
15. Termination of Service
We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate ongoing service for the following reasons:
Unsafe or hostile environments
Repeated cancellations or non-payment
Disrespectful behavior toward staff
